CEWE is once again the official premium partner of numerous photo festivals this year. There are many events on the program well into November, at which CEWE will be present. The CEWE truck with a presentation area of more than 70 square meters and a roof terrace of another 20 square meters will give photo enthusiasts an insight into the CEWE world. On the agenda for 2023 are the “horizonte zingst” environmental photo festival, the photo summit in Oberstdorf, Photopia Hamburg, the Wonder Worlds Festival in Friedrichshafen and the Fernweh Festival in Erlangen. At the Fürstenfeld nature photo days + highlights in mid-April, CEWE was already there as a premium partner with the CEWE truck.
At the pulse of photo culture
It has been more than 110 years since Carl Wöltje founded the “Photographic Institute” and thus laid the foundation for today’s CEWE Foundation. Since then, the photo culture has been inseparably interwoven with the corporate culture and is an essential part of the Oldenburg company. At CEWE, this includes various projects such as photo exhibitions, photo competitions and photo festivals lasting several days, which inspire amateur and professional photographers alike. As the organizer of the CEWE Photo Award, the company regularly calls on photography enthusiasts from all over the world to submit their most beautiful motifs. Last time, a total of 606,289 photographs were submitted, making this competition the largest of its kind in the world. “As a company, we stand for photography in all its facets and above all for the joy of to capture great moments as an emotion in pictures and thus to create more than just an image of reality. We are delighted to be an active part of the diverse photo festivals in Germany again this year,” says Bastian Freese from the Photo Culture Marketing department at CEWE.
Environmental Photo Festival “horizonte zingst”:
The CEWE truck travels to Zingst five days before the start of the festival. At this year’s environmental photo festival, everything revolves around the topic “Flora”. From June 7th to 11th, exhibitions, photo workshops and live lectures will focus on the green and colorful world of plants and their importance for human life. The breadth of the topic is also reflected in the location, because the wide-ranging program will extend from galleries on the festival grounds to the Baltic Sea beach.
